How to completely reset a Minecraft Bedrock server

Last updated on Jul 24, 2024

Resetting a Minecraft Bedrock server has multiple benefits. It gives players new areas to explore and levels the playing field by starting everyone fresh. The reset adds challenges, making the game more interesting, and improves performance by clearing out old stuff. It encourages teamwork, sparks creativity, and attracts new and returning players, keeping the server exciting. Plus, it allows for updates and maintains an active community.

Note: Reinstalling your server will stop it, and then re-run the installation script that initially set it up. Some files may be deleted or modified during this process, please back up your data before continuing.

  1. Login to the QuickHost Game Panel

  2. Stop the server

  3. Under server controls click settings.

  4. Click Reinstall Server. This may take a few minutes

  5. Start the server
