How to add custom tracks on an Assetto Corsa server

Incorporating custom tracks into Assetto Corsa expands the racing experience with diverse and unique locations. These user-created tracks provide new challenges and excitement, offering various options beyond the base game. From real-world circuits to imaginative creations, custom tracks cater to multiple racing styles and preferences, fostering community engagement and ensuring a constant flow of fresh content.

Note: The Assetto Corsa server web panel or FTP Client must be set up on the server.

Note: Players must match the mods on the server.

How to Add Custom Tracks on an Assetto Corsa Server. (Web Panel) - (Server)

  1. Login to the QuickHost Game Panel.

  2. Stop the server.

  3. Download a custom track. In this tutorial we will be using Shutoko Revival Project.

  4. Extract the compressed file to a folder.

  5. Log in to the Assetto Corsa server web panel.

  6. Under Content, select Tracks.

  7. Drag and drop or choose the folder from step 3.

  8. Click UPLOAD TRACK(S).

  9. In the QuickHost Game Panel, select Files on the left.

  10. Find the following directory: /home/container/cfg/server_cfg.ini

  11. On the Track and Config_Track line type the name of the track folder and sub folder if it has one.

  12. Start the server.

  1. Login to the QuickHost Game Panel.

  2. Stop the server.

  3. Download a custom track. In this tutorial we will be using Shutoko Revival Project.

  4. Extract the compressed file to a folder.

  5. Login to the Assetto Corsa FTP Client.

  6. Under Content, select Tracks.

  7. Drag and drop the folder from step 3.

  8. Wait for the files to transfer.

  9. In the QuickHost Game Panel, select Files on the left.

  10. Find the following directory: /home/container/cfg/server_cfg.ini

  11. On the Track and Config_Track line type the name of the track folder and sub folder if it has one.

  12. Start the server.

How to Add Custom Tracks on an Assetto Corsa Client. (Content Manager) - (Client)

  1. Download Content Manager here.

  2. Download a custom track.

  3. Extract the .zip file to a folder.

  4. Run Content Manager.

  5. The app should automatically detect the Assetto Corsa Steam directory, Steam ID, and name.
    If not, hit Change

  6. Optional: Select Create (recommended) to add a shortcut to the Start Menu.

  7. Click Install on each plugin, then press OK.

  8. Go to the Settings tab.

  9. Select Custom Shaders Patch.

  10. Hit Install.

  11. Drag and drop the compressed file from step 2 into Content Manager.

  12. Select the download symbol on the upper right.

  13. Click Install.

  14. Launch Assetto Corsa.

  1. Download a custom track.

  2. Extract the compressed file to a folder.

  3. Minimize the folder to use later in the tutorial.

  4. Right-click Assetto Corsa on Steam, hover Manage, and select Browse Local Files.

  5. Find the following directory: Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks .

  6. Drag and drop the folder from step 3.

  7. Launch Assetto Corsa.
